Description
Not too difficult species with spoon-shaped to round leaves. Once large enough, this species makes long flower stems with multiple pink to purple flowers.
Distribution
Floristic provinces
Brazil
Central Brazilian Uplands
Brazil Southeast
Habitat
Often grows in nutrient-poor wetter meadows or in crevices in the rocks, often on sandy soils or in areas with seasonal flooding.
Cultivation
The one I have comes from Itacambira, Brazil. Grows well and makes long flower stems. The traps that grow along the surface also grow into small plants. Larger (flowering) plants may die after flowering, this has not yet been seen.
